On Friday, health officials in the US logged 89,582 new infections. Of the cumulative 41.6 million confirmed positive cases, 76.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 1,105, bringing the total number of fatalities to 675,760.

Daily update of Ontario’s Covid-19 vaccination campaign
With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 20.9 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. On September 10, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 35,844 vaccine doses on Thursday, down from 38,391 doses the day prior.

TORONTO – When a grisly and gory crime hits close to home, it sends a shock wave to the whole Filipino-Canadian community of Toronto, especially to closer friends and relatives of the victim hearing for the first time that when a partner is murdered, the surviving partner is always the suspect. Tragic as it may be, the initial reaction is for everyone to send in their condolences.
