On Wednesday, health officials in Italy logged 3,937 new infections bringing the total caseload to more than 4.2 million since the start of the pandemic. Of that cumulative total, 90.8% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, the Department of Health reported an increase of 121 Covid-related deaths.
TORONTO – May 26, 2021: Canada stood yesterday at 1,367,156 positives for Covid-19, an increase of 2,427 more cases than in the previous 24 hours. The number of victims – nationwide – yesterday reached 25,352 total deaths, 38 more than on Tuesday. In Canada yesterday the number of recovered people from the coronavirus stood at 1,295,531. →
