On Friday, health officials in India logged over 47,000 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 30.5 million. Of the cumulative total, 97.0% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by nearly 800, bringing the country’s total fatalities to 401,252.
