On Monday, health officials in Russia logged 18,325 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 6.9 million. Of the cumulative total, 89.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 792, bringing the total number of fatalities to 182,429.

The seven-day moving average is now 696, up from 581 a week ago. And for the first time since June 11, the number of active cases in Ontario today exceeded 6,000.
