Status update of Covid-19 cases worldwide

Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of November 26, 2021, at 6:30 pm EST.

On Friday, health officials in Russia logged 34,690 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 9.5 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 86.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 1,235 Covid-related deaths for a total of 270,292 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Status update of Ontario’s Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign

With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 22.8 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on November 26, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 19,820 vaccine doses on Thursday, up from 12,566 doses the day prior.

TORONTO – I vaccini anti Covid-19 funzionano e stanno contribuendo a tenere sotto controllo il contagio in questa fase della pandemia. La conferma arriva da uno studio – il primissimo del suo genere in Ontario – nel quale vengono catalogati tutti i casi di Covid-19 in provincia registrati dal 14 dicembre 2020 al 14 novembre 2021. TORONTO – Sono oltre 36mila gli appuntamenti prenotati finora per la somministrazione del vaccino contro il Covid-18 ai bambini di età compresa tra 5 e 11 anni. Già da ieri cliniche, ospedali e farmacie hanno iniziato a somministrare la prima dose ai bimbi la cui età rientra in questa fascia.
