TORONTO – After Ontario ended, on March 21, mandatory masking in indoor public spaces, including classrooms, on Friday about 30 out of 583 TDSB schools reported classes that shifted to remote asynchronous learning, estimated to be the highest number of classes affected by staff absences in a single day during the pandemic.
With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 32.5 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on April 22, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 36,134 vaccine doses on Thursday, down from 39,507 doses the day prior.
