Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
All Canadians have an interest in the process and the outcome of the Conservative Party of Canada Leadership contest, regardless of partisan affiliation. With all due respect to the other parties (Bloc Quebecois, Green, Liberal and NDP) it is one of two Parties with any realistic chance of forming a federal government. The other being the Liberals.

TORONTO – Port Hope Police and Fire Rescue extinguished a car fire in a parking lot of grocery stores at the corner of Jocelyn Street and Toronto Street in Port Hope, Ontario.
With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 32.8 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on May 6, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 29,872 vaccine doses on Thursday, down from 29,923 doses the day prior.
