In one of the most diverse municipalities in the country, young families make up a significant portion of Milton’s electorate. Created in 2015, the provincial riding is situated in the Regional Municipality of Halton and encompasses the Town of Halton and the north-west portion of the City of Burlington.
With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 32.7 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on May 1, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 16,739 vaccine doses on Saturday, down from 30,913 doses the day prior.
TORONTO – 1,410 Covid patients present in Ontario hospitals today, 266 fewer than Saturday but 48 more than a week ago when they were 1,362. The data on hospitalizations, therefore, continue to be fluctuating, even if during the weekend not all hospitals provide updates. The number of patients in intensive care could therefore be even higher than that indicated today, namely 187. →
