On Thursday, health officials in Mexico logged 22,711 new infections pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 3.0 million. Of the cumulative total, 78.6% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 727, bringing the total number of fatalities to 246,203.

Globally, over 204 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 184 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.3 million worldwide.
