On Sunday, health officials in Mexico logged 5,605,636 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 5.6 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 87.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 203 Covid-related deaths for a total of 6,352 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Globally, over 456 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 391 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.0 million worldwide.
