India’s soaring Covid-19 cases reach another record high. The country’s health officials reported an additional 216,850 new infections in the last 24-hours. That is the highest single-day increase since the start of the pandemic.
Globally, there have been over 138 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 118 million people have recovered and more than 2.9 million fatalities to Covid-19.
