TORONTO – Nuovo calo delle presenze ospedaliere Covid-19 inOntario: dagli 847 pazienti di mercoledì si è scesi agli 834 di ieri, il numero più basso dallo scorso 29 dicembre, quando i ricoverati erano 726. On Thursday, health officials in the Poland logged 14,068 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 5.7 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 89.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 266 Covid-related deaths for a total of 112,130 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Daily update of Ontario’s Covid-19 vaccination campaign
With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 31.7 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on March 3, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 17,291 vaccine doses on Wednesday, down from 19,014 doses the day prior.
Houses Cost, Record in Toronto: $2 Million
TORONTO – For the first time, the average sale price of a single-family home in the city of Toronto has hit the $2 million mark, although there was a slight cooling in the region’s real estate market in February. Although it was the second busiest February ever recorded for home sales (9,097), there were 16.8% fewer deals than last year’s record month, but up 61.4% from the previous month.

Covid-19 in Canada, fewer hospitalizations but still too many deaths
TORONTO – New decline in Covid-19 hospital admissions in Ontario: from 847 patients on Wednesday, they dropped to 834 today, the lowest number since last December 29, when the number of hospitalized patients was 726. Attendance in intensive care also falls: today 267, yesterday 278. However, the number of victims remains high: today another 19 people died from or with Covid-19. Canadian community humanitarian aid to Ukraine
The humanitarian crisis in Europe continues to develop amid the increasing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. It is generating spontaneous aid from Canadians in the Toronto area.
Thousands of Ukrainians, mostly women and children, are leaving their home headed to neighbouring countries to escape the bombs and missiles landing near their towns and villages. According to the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNRA), more than one million people have fled from Ukraine since the start of the military operation.
