On Thursday, health officials in Spain logged 161,688 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 6.2 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 80.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 74 Covid-related deaths for a total of 89,405 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 27.0 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on December 30, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 197,280 vaccine doses on Wednesday, up from 176,349 doses the day prior.
