In Ontario nessun decesso: non accadeva dallo scorso 14 ottobre

TORONTO – Il Canada si è attestato ieri a quota 1.418.506 positivi, con un aumento di 466 contagi in più rispetto alle 24 ore precedenti. Le vittime – su scala nazionale – hanno raggiunto ieri quota 26.385 decessi complessivi, 6 in più rispetto alla giornata di martedì. In Canada erano ieri 1.386.642 in totale le persone guarite dal coronavirus. In Italia 1.010 nuovi casi e 14 decessi: terza dose in autunno?

ROMA – Sono risultati 1.010 i neo positivi al test del coronavirus, registrati ieri in Italia, mentre sono state 14 le nuove vittime. 177.977 i tamponi molecolari e antigenici effettuati nelle ultime 24 ore, su tutto il territorio nazionale, col tasso di positività pressoché stabile allo 0,56%. For the second day in a row, health officials in Bangladesh logged over 11,000 new infections. The last two days have been among the highest daily increases since the onset of the pandemic. Of the cumulative 977,568 confirmed positive cases, 87.0% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 201, a record high number of fatalities reported in one day.

Back to school in September, a plan is missing

“Time is running out.” Using these words, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Kieran Moore has tried to get out of the hibernation in which it fell, the government that must ensure a safe reopening of schools in September. Pressing on Premier Ford to anticipate Step 3

TORONTO – Pressure continues on Premier Doug Ford to bring forward Step 3 of the reopening roadmap. According to the roadmap wanted by the provincial government, the plan on the progressive relaxation of anti-Covid restrictions should comply with two pre-terms: one refers to the mass vaccination campaign in Ontario and the other on timing.
