Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of June 13, 2021 at 4:30pm EST.

On Sunday, health officials in Poland logged 224 new infections, the lowest single day increase in roughly one year. Of the cumulative 2.8 million confirmed positive cases, 92% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 11 bringing the total fatalities to 74,573.

Brampton man launches campaign calling for no more weed shops in the city

June 18 will mark the somber one-year anniversary of the horrific crash in Brampton that killed Karolina Ciasullo and her three innocent children. To honour the family and put an end to such deadly crashes caused by impaired drivers, 22-year old Brampton activist Cody Vatcher, spearheaded a campaign (nomoreweedshops.com) to put a freeze on pot shops opening in Brampton. Canada will donate 13 million Covid-19 vaccine doses to developing countries

TORONTO – The joint effort of the G7 countries will be aimed at ending the Covid-19 pandemic in 2022. This was reiterated today in the final communiqué of the summit in Cornwall. “The Covid-19 pandemic – reads the final message of G7 leaders – will not be under control anywhere until it is everywhere.
