Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of May 18, 2021 at 6:15pm EST.
On Tuesday, Ontario logged 1,616 new Covid-19 cases. It was the lowest daily number of new infections in 8 weeks. Of the total confirmed positive cases in the province, 93.5% have recovered. In the last 24-hours, the province’s daily Covid-related deaths increased by another 17 fatalities.
