When considering the world’s wealthiest sports teams, soccer clubs draw in big money. In 2020, the combined value among the top 10 giants was about $36.5 Billion USD, according to the Forbes list of the world’s richest soccer clubs.
So as not to offend any Juventus fans, Italy’s most valuable club appears on the list at number eleven, with a market value worth nearly $2 B. The collective value of these top-ranking clubs is closer to $38 B. In terms of annual revenue, this list of top money-generating clubs amount to $6.6 B. Continue reading→

I’ve been eating adobo ever since I can remember. My adobo is the chicken and pork preparation, cooked exactly as it appears in the photo accompanying this article. It is the national dish of the country I come from and a derivation of the Spanish word adobar, which means to marinate raw food in a stock of vinegar and herbs. This is one legacy of Spain to the Philippines after three and a quarter centuries of colonization. Ontario, all adults can book vaccination starting tomorrow
TORONTO – Breakthrough in the Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Ontario. Starting tomorrow, all adults living in Ontario will be able to book their vaccination appointment regardless of the area of the province in which they live. Until now, the minimum age limit did not apply only in the 114 areas of Ontario considered hotsposts, areas where the incidence of contagion was higher than in the rest of the province. In Ontario the number of Covid infections drops to 2,170, only 4 deaths
TORONTO – The positive trend in Ontario regarding the Covid-19 emergency continues. There were 2,170 new infections reported yesterday, down slightly from the 2,199 cases confirmed on Sunday. The latest count is a significant decrease from the 2,716 infections reported on Monday, May 10.
The number of deaths related to the virus also fell: yesterday there were four, the lowest daily death toll recorded since 22 March: overall deaths in the province rose to 8,489. Continue reading→

Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of May 17, 2021 at 5:00pm EST.
For the ninth day in a row, Ontario logged less than 3,000 new Covid-19 cases. In the last 24-hours, health officials recorded 2,170 new infections. Of the total confirmed positive cases in the province, 93% have recovered. Slightly better than Canada’s rate of 92.9%.
Daily Covid-related deaths increased by another 4 fatalities, the lowest single-day increase in the last eight weeks. Continue reading→
