Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of May 3, 2021 at 5:45pm EST.

Today, total Covid-19 cases in India surpass 20 million. For thirteen days straight, the country has reported more than 300,000 new infections daily. In the last 24-hours, India’s health officials recorded 355,828 new cases, a slight dip from yesterday.
