Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.

TORONTO – A partire dal 20 giugno i canadesi non vaccinati possono tornare a salire a bordo di un aereo, di un autobus o di un treno passeggeri. Dopo aver sospeso i test casuali per il Covid-19 negli aeroporti fino al 30 giugno il governo federale ha annunciato la fine dell’obbligo vaccinale oltre che per i viaggi nazionali su aerei e treni anche per quelli internazionali in partenza dal Canada…
TORONTO – Starting June 20, unvaccinated Canadians can return to board a plane, bus or passenger train. After suspending random tests for Covid-19 at airports until June 30, the federal government announced the end of the vaccination obligation as well as for domestic travel on planes and trains also for international ones departing from Canada. Upon returning from another country, however, travelers are required to observe quarantine. Foreign nationals arriving in Canada will still need to be immunized. Federal employees and transportation workers in federally regulated industries will also no longer need to be fully vaccinated in order to work. Those who are on unpaid administrative leave due to their vaccination status will then be invited to return to work.
