Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
[GTranslate]SANREMO – It is rock that triumphs at the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival: after a very long final evening, which ended late at night, the Maneskin (in the pic) were proclaimed winners. The band from Rome reached the top step of the podium (in second place Francesca Michielin – Fedez, in third Ermal Meta) with the song “Zitti e buoni” signed by all four members of the band: Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio. →

SANREMO – E’ il primo Festival di Sanremo senza il pubblico in sala e con gli applausi registrati: a causa del Covid-19, infatti, la storica manifestazione dedicata alla canzone italiana – che inizia stasera (martedì 2 marzo) e termina sabato 6 marzo – si svolge “a porte chiuse”. →
SANREMO – E’ il rock a trionfare alla 71esima edizione del Festival di Sanremo: dopo una lunghissima serata finale, terminata a notte fonda, sono stati proclamati vincitori i Maneskin (nella foto). La band romana ha raggiunto il gradino più alto del podio (al secondo posto Francesca Michielin – Fedez, al terzo Ermal Meta) con il brano “Zitti e buoni” firmato da tutti e quattro i componenti della band: Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi ed Ethan Torchio. →

Luca Gaudiano (in the photo), a young singer-songwriter from Foggia, is the winner of the “Young” section: the thirty-year-old from Puglia won the final on Friday 5 March with the song “Polvere da sparo”, triumphing over the other three finalists Wrongonyou (with “Lessons in flight”), which won the Critics’ Award “Mia Martini”, Davide Shorty (with “Regina”) who was awarded the Press Office Award “Lucio Dalla” and Folcast (with “Discover yourself”). →
