Covid-19, Draghi’s decree
Italian Easter in lockdown
[GTranslate]ROME – Italy in the red zone at Easter 2021 from 3 to 5 April, except in the areas that had passed to the white zone such as Sardinia: this is what the new decree approved by the Council of Ministers and the premier Mario Draghi establishes, which includes a whole series of new measures to Monday 15 March until 6 April to counter the spread of the coronavirus.
First of all, the regions currently in the yellow area will automatically switch to orange as early as next Monday, while those in which there is a cumulative incidence of new cases exceeding 250 per 100.000 inhabitants will go into the red area.
And for the Easter holidays, from 3 to 5 April, the measures provided for the red zone will apply throughout the national territory (except, as we said, for the white zones) regardless of infections. In those days, therefore, it will be possible to move only towards a single private home inhabited, once a day, in a period of time between 5 and 22, and “within the limits of two additional people with respect to those already living there, in addition to children under the age of 14 on whom such persons exercise parental responsibility and to disabled or non self-sufficient people living together “. However, the movement will only be possible within the same region.
Lockdown for Easter, then, and all close: high fines for those who violate the rules, from 400 to 3000 euros, but also with closure from 5 to 30 days of the exercise or activity that does not respect the squeeze, remaining open.
