Despite the stakes and unity, Canada along with the USA, meaning NATO as a whole have made clear they have no plan to send troops into Ukraine to fight Russia. They have instead reinforced the military alliance’s presence in the Eastern Europe, in case the conflict expands beyond Ukraine. 

Now, the NATO allies are seeing the toll is still much less than having the World War Three to be unfolded. But, it is for how long? Already Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a chilling warning to the Western allies. He made clear on a television broadcast that, “To anyone who would consider interfering from the outside – if you do, you will face consequences greater than any you have faced in history.” Seems like he has made his decision how far Russia will go with its nuclear arsenal.

The expanding war may inevitable, unless Putin is not just stopped in Ukraine, and for that simply the economic sanctions will not work, rather cause supply chain disaster.
