ITA Airways’ nonstop route from Toronto to Rome inaugurated today
TORONTO – ITA Airways’ latest nonstop route from Toronto Pearson to Rome Fiumicino was inaugurated today, after the first flight Rome-Toronto a few hours before: initially, the service will operate six times a week, swiftly progressing to daily flights from June.
The new connection marks a significant moment for ITA Airways, as the introduction of the Toronto route signifies the premier direct link to Canada for this Italian airline, exemplifying another stride in ITA Airways’ ongoing expansion of its intercontinental network.

The new Rome-Toronto-Rome flights are already available for purchase on the ITA Airways website. The airline offers travelers the opportunity to explore new destinations with the convenience and reliability that distinguish the Italian national airline.
