On Sunday, health officials in Bangladesh logged 11,578 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 1.1 million. Of the cumulative total, 84.4% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 225, bringing the total fatalities to 17,894.

Globally, over 190 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 174 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.0 million worldwide.

Spain has not provided an update of Covid-19 cases since July 16, 2021.
