On Monday, health officials in India logged 24,855 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 33.5 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 97.7% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 220, bringing the total number of fatalities to 445,385.

Globally, over 228 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 206 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.6 million worldwide.

Poland has not reported any Covid-related fatalities on September 20, 2021.
