On Thursday, health officials in Russia logged 25,667 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 10.3 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 88.5% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 1,002 Covid-related deaths for a total of 301,271 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Globally, over 277 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 249 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.3 million worldwide.
