On Wednesday, health officials in Spain logged 133,553 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 9.5 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 60.2% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 215 Covid-related deaths for a total of 92,591 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Globally, over 360 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 286 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.6 million worldwide.
