On Monday, health officials in Spain logged 40,272 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 10.3 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 66.9% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 111 Covid-related deaths for a total of 94,570 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Globally, over 396 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 316 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.7 million worldwide.
