On Tuesday, health officials in Mexico logged 7,831 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 5.3 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 85.7% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 146 Covid-related deaths for a total of 312,965 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Globally, over 414 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 337 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.8 million worldwide.
