On Tuesday, health officials in Portugal logged 13,103 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 3.2 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 84.8% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 28 Covid-related deaths for a total of 20,894 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Globally, over 427 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 354 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.9 million worldwide.
