On Sunday, Poland reported an additional 3,852 new infections. Over the last two-days, the country’s health officials logged more than 560 new Covid-related deaths bringing total fatalities to over 70,012.
When taking into consideration, deaths per million of population, Poland’s rate of 1,851 is nearly three times that of Canada’s rate at 649.

Globally, over 157 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 137 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 3.2 million worldwide.

Spain has not updated Covid-19 cases since May 8, 2021.
