Bangladesh enforces a week-long “lockdown” to curb rising Covid-19 infections. On April 4, health authorities recorded a record high of 7,087 new cases followed by an additional 7,075 new infections reported today.

Globally, there have been over 131 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 106 million people have recovered and more than 2.8 million fatalities were attributable to Covid-19.

Spain has not updated the status of Covid-19 cases for the past two days.
