On Saturday, health officials in Canada logged just under 700 new infections pushing the number of total confirmed positive cases to over 1.4 million. Of the cumulative total, nearly 97% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 18 bringing the total fatalities to 25,904.

Globally, over 175 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 160 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 3.7 million worldwide.

Spain has not updated status of Covid-19 cases since June 11, 2021.
