Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.

Dati rati mayroon mahabang puting tolda kung saan nag titipon ang mga potograper nag una Han kumuha nang litrato nang maga sikat na artista nadumaraan sa pula karpet. TORONTO – There is a gaping hole in front of Roy Thomson Hall. Where there was once a long white pitched-up tent where the media elbowed each other to get a word in edge-wise to famous celebrities as they graced the red carpet, there now stand dog walkers picking up poop in David Pecaut Square. These are the key themes of the Liberal Party’s electoral platform presented today in Toronto by grit leader Justin Trudeau. A program, the one announced by the outgoing prime minister, which includes a total spending plan of 78 billion dollars spread over the next five years, with 13 billion that will be invested in the current fiscal year.
