Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – More than 300 victims of sexual exploitation of minors have emerged from the “dark web”, i.e. the “hidden” internet, where online crimes are committed, often horrific such as child pornography: they were discovered by an international coalition of forces of the order, including the Canadian ones, which have worked in synergy to vanquish the terrible “traffic”. TORONTO – È tutta concentrata sulle ospedalizzazioni e sui decessi, adesso, l’attenzione del mondo della scienza. Contare i contagi da Covid-19 è diventato impossibile, sia per le limitazioni dell’accesso ai test molecolari (ormai riservati alle categorie “a rischio”, almeno in Canada), sia per il fatto che la stragrande maggioranza dei casi è asintomatica: il virus circola e, di fatto, non sappiamo più dove, come, quando e quanto. Gli unici dati certi per comprendere lo stato della pandemia sono quindi i ricoveri negli ospedali e i decessi…

Counting infections from Covid-19 has become impossible, both due to the consequences of the limitations on access to molecular tests (now reserved for the “risk” categories, at least in Canada), and due to the fact that the vast majority of cases are asymptomatic: the virus circulates and, fact, we no longer know where, how, when and how much. TORONTO – Nuovo calo dei contagi in Ontario che ieri ha registrato 481 infezioni di Covid-19 (e 1 decesso) contro le 552 di lunedì, 666 domenica, 661 sabato e 598 venerdì. Dopo l’impennata del weekend, dunque, i casi tornano a calare anche se l’attenzioen resta alta, soprattutto sul fronte dei ricoveri che stanno aumentando in maniera preoccupante. Ma andiamo con ordine…
TORONTO – New decline in infections in Ontario which today recorded 481 Covid-19 infections (and 1 death) against 552 on Monday, 666 on Sunday, 661 on Saturday and 598 on Friday. After the surge of the weekend, therefore, cases return to decline even if attention remains high, especially on the front of hospitalizations that are increasing in a worrying way.
