Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
EDMONTON – Altri 1.263 casi di Covid-19 e 26 decessi in sole ventiquattr’ore e contagi in 756 scuole: pochi numeri che danno bene l’idea di quanto sia grave la situazione in Alberta. Le nuove infezioni, rilevate mercoledì su 15.400 test analizzati, portano il tasso di positività della provincia all’8,27%, leggeramente più basso ma sempre altissimo rispetto alle altre province del Canada (quello dell’Ontario, per dare un’idea, ieri era dell’1,7%)…
EDMONTON – 1,263 cases of Covid-19 and 26 deaths in just twenty-four hours and infections in 756 schools: few numbers that give a good idea of how serious the situation in Alberta is. The new infections, detected on Wednesday on 15,400 tests analyzed, bring the positive rate of the province to 8.27%, slightly lower but still very high compared to the other provinces of Canada (that of Ontario, to give an idea, today was 1.7%).
