House prices in Toronto are rising again: + 20% in one year

TORONTO – House prices in Toronto are rising again. On an annual basis, the increase is almost 20% according to the analysis of TRREB, Toronto Regional Real Estate Board. Reason: Prospective homebuyers in the Greater Toronto Area found significantly fewer homes on the market last month than they did a year ago, thereby driving down sales and, consequently, raising the prices of the few properties available.

Ontario, more than 400 cases: 38% are fully vaccinated

TORONTO – With more than 400 cases in the last twenty-four hours, Ontario exceeds 600,000 infections recorded since the beginning of the pandemic: 600,377. Today, therefore, provincial health officials reported 422 new cases of Covid-19: a significant increase compared to the 326 cases of last Monday and more even compared to the 340 infections on Sunday (when, however, more swabs were processed: 25,707 against 19,840 today) and 356 on Saturday.

Infections run in schools, PCR tests are coming November 15

TORONTO – Covid-19 and school. The bond, this year, seems to be stronger than in 2020. It is the numbers that give us the picture of the situation: last year at the end of October, 1,966 cases were detected in public schools since the beginning of the school year. This year the infections in the same period of time are as many as 4,454. The fault, say the doctors, is to be attributed to the variant of the Delta coronavirus that some scientists have discovered to be contagious like chickenpox.
