TORONTO – The Canadian housing market continues to show signs of cooling. Last month the volume of home sales fell by more than a third compared to last year’s boom periods, and prices have also fallen by almost 10% since then.
TORONTO – Slight drop in new Covid-19 cases in Ontario today: the province recorded 613 new infections, up from 627 on Monday and 741 on Sunday. TORONTO – 378 new cases today, compared to 331 on Tuesday and 321 on Wednesday last week. The seesaw of infections continues and raises the seven-day moving average which now stands at 379, up from the 366 daily cases of last Wednesday. →
TORONTO – The trend now seems to be the same: new daily cases between 700 and 800, the vast majority of which in unvaccinated people. Ontario recorded 715 new cases (and 6 deaths) today, with the seven-day moving average of new cases now standing at 709, down from Saturday (719) when there were 821 infections. →
TORONTO – Ontario finally records a substantial decline in new Covid-19 cases, but the average remains high. Today 525 infections were recorded in the province, a significant decrease compared to the 694 on Monday, the 740 on Sunday, the 835 on Saturday and the 781 on Friday, but still increasing compared to 486 a week ago, so the moving average by seven days it still exceeds 700, for the first time since the beginning of June, to be precise since last June 8 when it was 703. This average has in fact seen an increase of 17% week after week and, today, stands at 702, compared to 600 a week ago. →
