CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. TORONTO – Said and done. Ontario’s Conservative government today used its majority to pass Bill 7, the controversial legislation that allows elderly patients to be transferred from the hospital to long-term care homes not of their choice on a temporary basis.

TORONTO – The NDP announces war on the government of Doug Ford who today approved the motion to avoid public hearings regarding legislation that would allow patients in hospital who need long-term care to be transferred to LTC without their consent.
