Health officials suggest the critical threshold for vaccination is now estimated to be at least 90% of the population. That translates to roughly 13,050,000 people that would need to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity against Covid-19.
So far, 12,047,096 people have received at least one or both shots of the vaccine, 83.1% of the entire population (green segment).
A total of 11,345,168 people are fully inoculated against the virus. That number represents about 78.2% of the Ontario population, (yellow segment).
