TORONTO – The original Beatles title contained a negative. Ford is trying to correct that. The next provincial election is June 2, 2022. Between now and the end of May, any Provincial Government announcements or statements by Opposition leaders and their parties (Liberal and NDP) will have this date as a focus and purpose. Barring any egregious scandal, the incumbent government – Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservatives – already look and act like the eventual winners. They shouldn’t be.
TORONTO – No longer just pizzas, chips, chicken legs or ethnic foods: now on the Uber Eats app, in Ontario, you can also order cannabis. The news is announced by Uber Technologies Inc itself which, through its spokespersons, says it has presented a collaboration with a cannabis retailer, Tokyo Smoke, to allow purchases of “weed” through its home delivery platform. TORONTO – From tomorrow all Ontario residents vaccinated against Covid-19 will be able to download the new QR code online. Already on Friday the province made it possible to download according to the month of birth: on October 15th it was the turn of those born from January to April, on the 16th of those born from May to August and today, finally of those who celebrate their birthday from September to December. From 6 this morning, finally, everyone – regardless of the month of birth – can download their vaccination certificate with the official QR code. “This is for businesses and organizations to scan the QR code made available to people,” said Ford Premier spokeswoman Ivana Yelich.
