The Ontario government is encouraging families to take the opportunity to go out in nature to any of over 100 provincial parks this weekend. On the occasion of Father’s Day, which falls this Sunday, fishing will be possible free of charge and without the need of having a license. (more…)
Seniors are considered our most valued members of society. We learn from their experiences, take advice from their wisdom and benefit from their contributions to society. Traditionally, it is common to treat people of older ages with respect and dignity. Unfortunately, that is not always the case.
President of the Republic leaves a message of gratitude and hope to the Portuguese Diaspora. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who is in the Autonomous Region of Madeira for the June 10th commemorations, regrets once again that the pandemic is postponing “fraternal coexistence with all compatriots and Portuguese descendants who live and work outside physical borders of Portugal, but they are part of our spiritual frontiers”. The aim is to develop a worldwide movement of citizens to mobilize and unite efforts for the sustainable management of the world’s oceans.
