Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – More and more, it seems that there is an undercurrent of reaction against the incursions of the wokist ideology seeping its way into the society we had come to know. No-one can point to any specific, tangible document outlining its credo much less any accrued benefits previously unavailable before advocates of wokism emerged as the self-proclaimed conscience of contemporary society.
TORONTO – Our political cycle is quite like sports and the analogies, images and metaphors will reflect overlapping experiences. Those who seek our vote will try to make themselves relevant to our understanding of life or conjure up images that they, or more precisely, their consultants think are important – in the moment.
TORONTO – About 7,000 Americans and 450 Canadians who were fully vaccinated have died of Covid-19. Among Americans, the death of Colin Powell, the former secretary of State – who died on Monday from complications from Covid-19 despite being fully vaccinated – shocked everyone. A news that has been around the world and that has given the opportunity to the experts to explain why this can happen and why the vaccine is extremely important as it protects oneself and others from the disease. MASSA CARRARA – Everyone wants the Green Pass but not everyone wants to get vaccinated. Then, there are those who have had more than two doses of vaccine but they just can’t get the Green Pass. It’s the case of Virginia G., the 23-year-old girl from Massa, in Tuscany, a master’s student in Psychology in Pisa, who was injected with six doses of anti-Covid Pfizer vaccine by mistake, on 9 May at the hospital “Noa” di Massa (the number of injected doses was then adjusted from four to six by the ASL of Massa Carrara).
