Created in 2015, the provincial electoral district of Flamborough-Glanbrook is situated along the southern outskirts of Hamilton. The riding encompasses the rural portion of the City of Hamilton, including part of the Niagara Escarpment. It covers an area of 125 square km, slightly smaller than that of Turin, Italy, but with a population density about one seventh that of the Italian regional municipality.

In Ontario, substantial stocks of Covid-19 vaccines continue to arrive. A total supply of five million doses of vaccine will arrive from the federal government this month. This week 558,090 doses of Pfizer will arrive, in the week of July 19 also 1,208,610 doses of Pfizer will come and finally from July 26, 1,428,570 doses of Pfizer will be delivered. (more…)
TORONTO — The Ontario government is investing $2 million to expand the coverage of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems across the province, an essential tool in detecting criminal activity and keeping communities safe.
Funding through the Ontario CCTV Grant will help police and their municipal partners purchase CCTV equipment in 2021-2022 in areas with high rates of criminal activity including gun and gang violence. (more…)
TORONTO – Ontario is racing against time on the vaccination front. The immunization campaign against Covid-19 is now being accelerated again with the opening of reservations to vaccinate even for people who are at least 75 years old: from March 15th the provincial system accepted reservations only for those who were at least 80. In order to get vaccinated, you must connect to the internet portal activated by the provincial government (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine)or by telephone, by calling the toll-free number 1-888-999-6488, where a telephone operator will collect the information necessary to make the reservation.
