TORONTO – L’aveva annunciato e l’ha fatto. Bank of Canada ha alzato il tasso di interesse di riferimento di un altro 0,50, portandolo dal 3,25 al 3,75 per cento. Dallo scorso mese di marzo, la banca centrale ha aumentato per ben sei volte il tasso di riferimento, “con l’obiettivo di contrastare l’inflazione e riportarla all’obiettivo del 2%”, ha sempre sostenuto la stessa banca.
