নির্বাচনী বৈতরনীতে পিছিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী ট্রুডো

২০ সেপ্টেম্বর সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ সরকারের আকাঙ্খায় ডাকা নির্বাচনে কানাডার প্রধানমন্ত্রী জাস্টিন ট্রুডো সম্ভাব্য পরাজয়ের মুখে রয়েছেন, যাকে ঐতিহাসিকভাবে নির্বাচন কর্তৃপক্ষ ৬১০ মিলিয়ন ডলারের সর্বাধিক ব্যয়বহুল অর্থাৎ ২০১৯ সালের নির্বাচনের তুলনায় ১০০ মিলিয়ন ডলার বেশি প্রাক্কলন করেছে। কিন্তু ট্রুডো তাতে কোভিড-১৯ মোকাবেলায় তার প্রধান প্রতিপক্ষকে দোষারোপ করেছেন। 

Prime Minister Trudeau trails in snap election

TORONTO – A majority government hoping Canadian PM Justin Trudeau faces now a possible defeat in a snap election called on September 20, which election authority earmarked as most expensive in history with a price tag of $610 million, that’s $100 million more than the 2019 election.
