Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.

TORONTO – More than 65 percent of Toronto adults have received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine. Yesterday, the city’s own health authorities announced this important step forward, stressing that the breakthrough was possible thanks to the collaboration between the various levels of government committed to combating the pandemic. TORONTO – Canada becomes the first country in the world to have approved the use of Pfizer’s Covid vaccine for ages 12 to 16. This was announced today by Supriya Sharma, Chief Medical Adviser of Health Canada, who pointed out that the documentation provided by Pfizer-BioNTech confirmed that the vaccine is effective and safe for adolescents as well.
