Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
A migrant never forgets his roots. And there are also those who, after leaving their country of origin to start a new life, try to do everything possible to improve the one of those they left behind. This is the case of Semou Diouf (in the pic above), 36, from Senegal who lives in Massa, in Tuscany (Italy) since twenty years, but, like many other young people like him, does not want to give up ties with his native country. Un migrante non dimentica mai le proprie radici. E c’è anche chi, dopo aver lasciato il Paese d’origine per iniziare una nuova vita, cerca di fare il possibile per migliorare anche quella di chi si è lasciato alle spalle. E’ il caso di Semou Diouf (nella foto sopra), 36 anni, senegalese che da vent’anni vive a Massa, in Toscana, ma, come tanti altri giovani come lui, non vuole rinunciare ai legami con il suo Paese natìo.
