TORONTO – With the entry into force of the new public health measures, from Monday Ontario residents will no longer be legally obliged to work from home and companies will no longer be obliged to keep a customer record for contact tracing purposes.
TORONTO – The countdown has started for the students of Ontario, who will return to class as early as next week. From January 3 the return had been postponed by the government to January 5 and then again postponed January 17 due to the rapid spread of the variant of Covid Omicron. But this time, according to government sources, elementary and high school children will return to classrooms.

The provincial government announced today that the third dose of the vaccine will be open to all citizens aged 18 and over from Monday. Not only that: it will be possible to do it three months (and no longer six) from the second one. An acceleration first hoped for and then supported by the Ontario Science Table which just today returned to call for rapid measures to curb the surge in cases due, in all probability, to the Omicron variant, much more infectious than the Delta. TORONTO – Online bookings for vaccination of over-80s in Ontario are kicking off. Starting at 8 am Monday morning, it will be possible for all people born in the year 1941 or before reserving the appointment for the first and second dose of vaccine by connecting to the provincial portal www.Ontario.ca/bookvaccine or by phone, calling the Provincial Vaccine Information Line at 1-888-999-6488. Already in recent weeks some local public health units – such as that of the York Region, Hamilton and Peel – had begun accepting reservations for the first dose of the vaccine. (more…)
