TORONTO – More than two months before the vote, the first session of the House of Commons will take place tomorrow. The parliamentary agenda for this week of work is already well defined. The first institutional step, which will be carried out tomorrow, is the election of the new Speaker of the Chamber. According to the Parliamentary Rules of Procedure, all MPs are formally candidates for the presidency of the House of Commons unless they indicate a will to the contrary. TORONTO – The contagion curve is still falling in Ontario. 458 new cases were registered on Monday and 390 today. Two deaths in the past two days, according to data released only today due to the Thanksgiving holiday. So, for the first time in nearly two months, the daily tally falls below 400 in Ontario. TORONTO – 587 new cases of Covid-19, today, in Ontario: the signs mark an increase compared to the 476 infections recorded on Wednesday (out of 39,460 tests) and to 429 on Tuesday (out of 25,441 tests). TORONTO – Autumn and winter will be difficult. Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health says so, and the same Alberta health officials. In both provinces, in fact, cases are now on the rise. Ontario has returned to detect more than 500 new cases of Covid-19: according to data from the Ministry of Health, in fact, 531 new cases were confirmed today, compared to 485 the day before (another 17 deaths were also recorded, although 15 of them occurred months ago and were discovered through a data reconnaissance).
